Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Head of the Tax Compliance Risk Section in Doha to oversee identification and assessment of tax compliance risks by applying data‑driven analytics to develop prioritized risk profiles that support targeted interventions.

The role leads analysis reviews, coordinates with internal departments and external stakeholders, develops recommendations to mitigate risks, and helps advance tax risk management through analytics tools and industry coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications are considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance risk analysis using statistical models and analytics to identify patterns of non-compliance.
• Monitor international tax risks through treaty analyses and transfer pricing considerations.
• Review reports detailing identified tax risks, methodologies, and financial impacts.
• Develop recommendations to mitigate risks and adopt advanced analytical technologies.
• Coordinate with IT to develop analytical tools and identify audit targets.
• Engage with external stakeholders including the Ministry of Finance on tax risk matters.
• Lead information exchange forums with international and GCC bodies.
• Review taxpayer target lists and audit objectives.
