Job summary

Brite Consult Ltd. in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Officer to join its client’s Finance/Tax team.

The role centers on Excise Tax, Corporate Tax and WHT compliance, with SAP data extraction and tax reconciliations at the core. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Taxation and 2–5 years of tax experience in Qatar/GCC, plus strong Excel and analytical skills to support audits, filings, and regulatory updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant tax experience in Qatar/GCC.
• Practical Excise Tax experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Corporate Tax & WHT.
• SAP experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience in tax reconciliations, filings & documentation.
• Experience handling GTA queries, audits & assessments.
• Strong Excel and analytical/reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Excise Tax compliance, returns and reconciliations.
• Support Corporate Tax and WHT compliance activities.
• Handle GTA queries, audits and tax assessments.
• Review transactions and identify potential tax issues/risks.
• Extract and reconcile tax data from SAP.
• Maintain accurate tax records and supporting documentation.
• Monitor Qatar tax requirements and regulatory updates.
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
