Job summary

Hayat Universal School (HUBS) Qatar is seeking a Student Security Officer to maintain a secure, orderly environment for students and staff during recess and transitions. You will monitor student behavior, assist teachers, and report incidents to ensure safety across daily operations.

The role requires strong Arabic and English communication, a clean safety record, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies. A proactive, self-motivated attitude is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• A Middle/ High School degree.
• 3+ years of experience, preferably 2 in a similar role.
• Proactive with a positive attitude.
• Able to operate with minimal supervision and self-motivated when given new assignments.
• Strong oral and written communication in Arabic and English.
• Works safely and establishes a safe environment; reacts quickly in emergencies to maximize children's safety.
• Able to analyze situations and take appropriate action in routine and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect students' uniforms in the classrooms to ensure adherence to the dress code.
• Supervise student compliance with regulations including mobile phone use and prohibited gadgets.
• Provide assistance to teachers in managing classroom behavior and addressing urgent issues.
• Monitor student movement during transitions to ensure safe and orderly arrivals, noon, and dismissal.
• Monitor teachers' compliance with responsibilities during recess and supervision.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or conflicts and communicate with relevant parties.
• Report violations of school regulations to Counselor, Vice Principal or Principal as required.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and attend staff meetings as required.
• Performs other related, similar, or logical duties as required.
