Job summary

HUBS is seeking a Student Security Officer in Doha, Qatar, to contribute to a secure, orderly environment that supports learning by ensuring adherence to school rules and effective supervision during recess and transitions.

Responsibilities include enforcing dress code, monitoring regulations, assisting teachers, and promptly addressing emergencies. Requires 3+ years in a similar role, strong Arabic/English communication, and good health.

Qualifications

• A Middle/High School degree is required.
• Aged between 22 and 40 years old and in good physical health.
• 3+ years of experience, preferably 2 in a similar role.
• Proactive with a positive attitude.
• Able to operate with minimal supervision and self-motivated when given new assignments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Works safely and establishes a safe environment; reacts quickly in emergency situations to maximize children's safety.
• Able to analyze situations and take appropriate action in both routine and emergency situations without immediate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect students’ uniforms in classrooms to enforce dress code.
• Supervise student compliance with regulations, including restrictions on mobile phones and gadgets.
• Assist teachers in managing classroom behavior and urgent issues.
• Monitor student movement during transitions to ensure safe, orderly flow.
• Ensure teachers’ punctual supervision during recess.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or conflicts and communicate with relevant parties.
• Report violations of school regulations to Counselor, Vice Principal or Principal.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and attend staff meetings as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
