BLJ Worldwide in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced English Writer/Editor for a client-embedded role with a prestigious Qatari entity. This full-time position is based in Qatar and offers the chance to shape high-profile sports and entertainment content.

You will create, edit and develop speeches, website content, press materials and other collateral, ensuring brand voice and cultural relevance. A bachelor’s degree and five+ years of editing experience are required; Arabic-to-English translation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Over five years of content editing experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic-to-English translation capability is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Create, edit, and develop collateral including speeches, website content, press materials and other written content.
• Develop creative content using culturally relevant language that captures the client’s brand voice.
• Implement client brand guidelines and tailor content for local, regional, and international audiences.
• Collaborate with team to create editorial calendars and contribute to day-to-day and strategic direction.
• Generate and execute creative ideas across media platforms.
• Translate complex information into engaging narratives for audiences.
• Work on multiple projects, delivering on tight deadlines and to a high standard.
• Support with out-of-hours requests or on-ground at events as required.
• Fulfil additional duties and assume project management responsibilities as assigned.
• Be a self-starter with understanding of international and current affairs and strong communication with clients and staff.
