Job summary

MetLife, Inc. in Qatar seeks an Internal Auditor to support local assurance activities across Qatar as part of the Gulf Internal Audit function.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, contribute to governance, risk management and controls, and help advance MetLife's growth strategy through thoughtful risk-based audits. The role offers exposure to a broad range of business areas, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and opportunities to leverage data analytics and AI tools in auditing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of audit experience in internal or external settings.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of audit standards and regulatory requirements in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with QCB-prescribed assurance activities and audits.
• Audit moderate-complexity areas and document results in the audit system.
• Support Head of Audit in drafting reports and issues.
• Help resolve open audit and risk issues with management.
• Participate in audit projects within budget and timeline.
• Perform other audit tasks as directed by Head of Audit.
