Job summary

Confidential Company in Doha, Qatar, seeks a Maintenance Engineer specializing in instrumentation to develop and schedule preventive maintenance plans, improving equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.

You will coordinate with production and operations to schedule work without impacting plant output, manage backlog by criticality, and keep CMMS records of costs, labor and parts for all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Control/Instrument Engineering.
5 years of field experience in automation maintenance.
3 years in maintenance planning in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas industries.
Detailed understanding of preventive/predictive maintenance theory.
Proficiency in CMMS like SAP PM, Maximo, or similar.
At least 2 to 3 major turnaround/shutdown experiences.

Responsibilities

Develop and schedule preventive maintenance plans for plant instrumentation.
Coordinate with production engineering and operations teams to schedule maintenance without impacting plant output.
Manage instrument maintenance backlog prioritizing tasks based on criticality, risk and available resources.
Maintain accurate CMMS records of maintenance activities including costs, labor and parts.
