Job summary

Facilities Management and Maintenance in Qatar seeks a Supervisor (Instrumentation) to lead a maintenance team in preventive and corrective tasks. The role directs Technical Officers and Technicians, ensuring proper shift handovers and timely fault reporting to Engineers and Senior Engineers.

You will train the team, ensure asset knowledge, and uphold HSEQ standards while coordinating work with clients and management. The position requires disciplined supervision and strong teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of regulations (e.g., OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS).
• Team building and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to technicians and support staff during maintenance tasks.
• Train the team on maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Ensure the team adheres to asset knowledge and standards.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance as assigned.
• Ensure on-time completion of tasks and proper handover at shift change.
• Report defects, spare parts needs, and safety incidents to engineers or managers.
