Job summary

Qatar Airways Group in Doha is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting across the business.

You will develop models, analyze variances, and drive value through process improvements, ensuring compliance and alignment with corporate definitions. This role also involves preparing management reports and collaborating with multiple departments to deliver accurate financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Minimum 4 years in financial analysis or related role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent English language proficiency.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Power BI, and MS Access.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and conduct analysis using a broad range of quantitative tools. Analyze and report actual revenues and costs; prepare root-cause variance analyses reporting to management on periodic basis (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
• Identify and develop process improvements in conjunction with finance stakeholders and/or business.
• Conduct ad hoc revenue and cost analysis for (senior) management in Finance.
• Identify and develop in conjunction with business KPIs and report them on a regular basis
• Ensure financial accounting reporting is in sync with corporate / finance definitions and reports
• Optimize reporting process of route profitability (if applicable), financial accounting and management reporting
• Review annual budget submissions in-line with key management strategies/targets.
• Control spends to ensure cost of sale targets are achieved and the recommend measures.
• Review business case proposals generating incremental revenues or cost reduction.
• Review contracts / agreements for financial compliance.
• Consolidating and analyzing financial results of departments on a monthly basis and yearly during the budgeting process.
