Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL is seeking a Demand Forecast & Planning Operator to forecast, plan and optimise inventory and usage for the QEAF Typhoon Fleet. The role focuses on data analysis, forecasting methods and ensuring material availability to meet customer demands.

You will support IT infrastructure and forecast parameters, while coordinating with internal stakeholders to maintain cost-effective supply chain operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Regulatory framework understanding and the ability to manage this framework into DF&P processes.
• Ability to build strong relationships with Customers, Part 145 Organisations, OEMs and suppliers.
• Operational and commercial understanding of fleet performance and KPIs.
• Continuous improvement mindset and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support demand forecasting, planning and inventory optimisation for fleet assets.
• Analyse data to inform forecasting methods and scenario modelling.
• Ensure inventory levels meet customer requirements while controlling costs.
• Assist in forecasting parameter maintenance and purchase order processes.
• Contribute to governance, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
