Job summary
Leading Bank in Qatar is seeking an experienced Programme Director to head a large Core Banking Transformation. You will oversee end-to-end delivery across platform modernization, data migration, systems integration, and regulatory readiness, reporting to the executive team and coordinating with technology partners and internal functions.
The role requires 15+ years in programme management within banking, with proven success in USD 50M+ transformations, and deep knowledge of platforms like
Qualifications
- 15+ years of programme management experience within banking/financial services.
- Led at least one large Core Banking Transformation programme > USD 50M in value.
- Experience delivering core banking implementations with listed platforms.
- Strong financial and commercial management capabilities.
- Experience managing multiple implementation partners and large cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the Core Banking Transformation Programme from mobilisation through go-live and stabilisation.
- Establish governance, steering committees, reporting frameworks, and executive communications.
- Ensure delivery aligns with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and budget.
- Lead multi-stream delivery across Technology, Operations, Retail & Corporate Banking, Risk, Finance, Compliance and PMO.
