Job summary

LEELAAK HR Consultancy in Doha seeks a Sustainability Climate Specialist to develop ESG disclosures, climate reporting, and risk management aligned with IFRS S1/S2 and ISSB.

Role includes GHG accounting (Scopes 1–3), climate risk assessment, and coordinating data with departments for accurate regulatory filings.

Requires 8–10 years in sustainability reporting, IFRS/ISSB credentials, and strong Excel/BI skills for dashboards and executive summaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of professional experience in sustainability reporting, ESG management, or climate disclosures.
• Demonstrated experience supporting IFRS S1/S2 and ISSB-aligned disclosures.
• Strong experience in GHG accounting—Scope 1, 2 and 3.
• Preferred knowledge of QFMA disclosure requirements and Qatar regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and development of sustainability and ESG reports per standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare IFRS S1/S2 and ISSB-aligned sustainability disclosures.
• Develop and validate GHG reporting protocols and methodologies.
• Conduct climate risk assessments including physical and transition risks.
• Coordinate with departments to obtain data for reporting and ensure accuracy.
