Job summary

Experience in Doha seeks a Sustainability & Climate Specialist to advance ESG reporting, climate disclosures, and GHG accounting in line with IFRS S1/S2 and ISSB standards. You will coordinate with departments to prepare dashboards and disclosures, validate data, and support scenario analyses.

The role involves building robust sustainability KPIs, ensuring regulatory compliance with QFMA, and guiding data collection and reporting processes. 8–10 years in sustainability reporting essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of professional experience in sustainability reporting, ESG management, climate disclosures, or corporate sustainability.
• Experience supporting listed companies with IFRS S1/S2 and ISSB-aligned disclosures.
• Strong experience in GHG accounting – Scope 1, 2 and 3.
• Proven experience in physical and transition climate risk assessments.
• Working knowledge of QFMA disclosure requirements and Qatar's regulatory environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and development of sustainability and ESG reports in line with recognized reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 / ISSB-aligned sustainability and climate-related disclosures.
• Develop, validate, and support implementation of GHG reporting protocols and methodologies.
• Conduct climate risk assessments, including physical and transition climate risks.
• Identify climate-related risks and opportunities and support their integration into business and sustainability reporting.
• Support climate-related scenario analysis, data collection, validation, calculations, and documentation.
• Review sustainability and ESG data from departments for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain sustainability, environmental, operational, and financial information for reporting.
• Prepare presentations, dashboards, management reports, disclosure documents.
