Job summary

The Senior Sustainability Reporting Specialist role at QAFCO supports the Corporate Sustainability Department in driving ESG disclosure and transparency by managing data collection, analysis and auditing workstreams for sustainability reporting. It involves preparing annual QAFCO Sustainability Reports and responding to external requests in line with frameworks like GRI, SASB, and IFRS S1/S2.

The ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, with strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Development or Environmental Science or related field.
• 5-8 years’ direct experience in ESG reporting or sustainability roles, preferably in petrochemical/oil & gas.

Responsibilities

• Gather data to assess ESG performance and support sustainability reporting processes.
• Prepare reports aligned with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, IFRS S1/S2.
• Manage responses to external sustainability requests, surveys, and certifications.
• Support development and monitoring of QAFCO Sustainability Plan and related systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track and report sustainability data with accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data integrity.
• Develop communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote disclosures.
• Stay up-to-date with sustainability reporting trends and regulations.
