Job summary

ISL Qatar is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Lead to oversee the school’s receivables, billing, and collections, ensuring accuracy and timely cash flow. The role works with the Senior Accountant, Head of Finance, Admissions, HR and other teams.

You will drive ageing control, resolve outstanding balances, and support month-end reporting while upholding ISL Qatar's values of integrity and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years accounting, including 3+ years AR, billing, collections.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Experience in international schools; IB/ACSI/NAIS familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns full AR cycle: billing, allocation, collections, ageing, reconciliation.
• Ensure timely recording of financial transactions within scope.
• Reconcile parent and customer accounts with supporting schedules.
• Manage payment plans, credit notes, and refunds with proper documentation.
• Maintain communication with parents on balances and arrangements.
• Coordinate receivables for events and activities; accurate billing.
