Job summary

Newrest in Qatar is seeking a warehouse operations professional to oversee shipping and receiving, coordinate stock, and maintain records for surplus inventory.

You will inspect incoming materials, reconcile with purchase orders, process documentation, and manage intra- and inter-site deliveries while keeping delivery records.

Ensure QHSE standards are implemented, perform inventories, and report incidents or unsafe acts to management to keep operations safe and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
• Distribute documentation related to orders; report damages and discrepancies.
• Make intra- and inter-site deliveries of surplus office furniture and merchandise; maintain records of deliveries.
• Fill supply requisitions and assist buyer to order merchandise; deliver orders to the central purchasing department.
• Receive, store, tag and track surplus property; prepare property lists for items to be consumed or discarded.
• Ship cancelled and damaged items back to vendor as appropriate.
• Ensure QHSE standards and procedures are implemented.
• Perform inventories as per company standards.
• Respect and follow up QHSE policies & must rules.
• Report any incident, accident & unsafe act to the management.
