Job summary

voco Doha Central, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, seeks a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the stewarding team and uphold cleanliness and hygiene across back-of-house areas. The role supports banquet and restaurant operations and ensures equipment readiness for daily service in a vibrant hotel setting.

You will supervise staff, train and motivate the team, and ensure HACCP and safety standards are met in a fast-paced environment in Doha central.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of stewarding experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of HACCP, hygiene, sanitation and health & safety standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards are maintained across all back-of-house areas.
• Monitor the cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and glassware.
• Support banquet and restaurant operations by ensuring equipment availability and readiness.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver high performance.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with HACCP and safety standards.
• Manage stewarding supplies, chemicals, and equipment to support efficient operations.
• Work closely with Culinary and F&B teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

What we need from you

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
