Job summary

voco Doha Central in Doha is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the backing-of-house team, ensure cleanliness and hygiene, and support guest experiences.

You'll supervise daily stewarding activities, maintain equipment and chemicals, train staff, and collaborate with Culinary and F&B teams to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years stewarding experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of HACCP, hygiene, sanitation and health & safety standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience managing stewarding equipment, chemicals and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Positive attitude with a hands-on approach to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery and glassware.
• Support banquet and restaurant operations by ensuring equipment availability and readiness.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver high performance.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure HACCP and safety compliance.
• Manage stewarding supplies, chemicals and equipment to support efficient operations.
• Collaborate with Culinary and F&B teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
