Job summary

QatarEnergy seeks a senior Electrical Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and construction of major electrical facilities within industrial areas and ports. You will guide Asset Operators and Business Partners, coordinating with KAHRAMAA and related entities to advance conceptual studies, development plans, and project execution strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in design, engineering and construction of electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries preferred.
• Exposure to project lifecycle and management with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee electrical infrastructure projects within Industrial Cities Directorate area.
• Coordinate with Asset Operators, KM/KAHRAMAA and stakeholders to identify synergy opportunities.
• Provide guidance and support for project development and execution plans.

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Perform studies, develop, evaluate, initiate and plan infrastructure projects to ensure that all Electrical Infrastructure within Industrial Cities Directorate area including Ports are in place to accommodate the anticipated growth of existing and future Asset Operators / Business Partners / Industries. Responsible to provide guidance and support for Asset Operators / Business Partners Project development on common and shared Electrical related Infrastructure facilities within Industrial Cities. Coordinate and liaise actively with concerned Asset Operators / Business Partners, QatarEnergy Surface Development, KAHRAMAA (KM) and other stakeholders to identify and develop synergy opportunities, formulate the necessary conceptual studies, development plans, projects concepts, engineering plans, project execution plans and related activities.

Required Experience And Skills

Minimum 10 years’ experience in design, engineering and construction of Electricarelated major infrastructure and facilities projects within the Oil & Gas and / orPetrochemical industry (preferably with 8-10 years with consulting / engineeringfirm). Exposure and experience in project lifecycle and project management with highsupervisory skills. Exposure to international experience and an appreciation of cultural sensitivities.

Educational Qualifications

Internationally recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
