Job summary

QatarEnergy in Doha is seeking an experienced engineer to perform studies, plan, and develop infrastructure projects crucial for the growth of existing and future industries. You will collaborate with various departments and joint ventures to ensure all facilities are in place.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of design experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle management. An internationally recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years broad design experience, preferably with 5-8 years in consulting/engineering.
• Exposure to project lifecycle and project management.
• International experience appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Perform studies and develop infrastructure projects for growth accommodation.
• Collaborate to identify synergy opportunities within QatarEnergy and partners.

Overview

Primary Purpose Of The Job Perform studies, plan, initiate, evaluate and develop infrastructure projects to ensure that all common facilities in the industrial cities are in place to accommodate the anticipated growth of existing and future QatarEnergy, Joint Ventures and Asset Operators’ industries.

Collaborate with concerned QatarEnergy Departments, Joint Ventures and asset operators, to identify synergy opportunities, formulate the necessary conceptual studies, development plans, project concepts, engineering plans, project execution plans and related activities.

Required Experience And Skills

• Exposure and experience in project lifecycle and project management with high supervisory skills.
• Exposure to international experience and an appreciation of cultural sensitivities.
