Job summary

Our Habitas Ras Abrouq in Qatar is seeking a Spa Supervisor who blends expert spa therapy with hands-on leadership to drive guest experience, treatment standards, hygiene and daily operations. You will oversee the Spa Therapist team, coach on protocols, manage schedules, monitor quality, and collaborate with departments to ensure a seamless guest journey.

The role requires 3–5 years' Spa Therapist/Team Leader experience, excellence in English, and a passion for luxury wellness.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or premium wellness environments preferred.
• Strong English communication skills required.

The Spa Supervisor is responsible for delivering exceptional spa treatments while providing hands‑on leadership and operational support to the Spa Therapist team This role combines the expertise of a highly skilled Spa Therapist with the responsibilities of a Supervisor The position ensures consistency in treatment standards guest experience hygiene team performance and daily spa operations while embodying the wellness philosophy and values of Our Habitas Ras Abrouq

Spa Treatments amp Guest Experience

• Perform a range of professional spa and wellness treatments including massages body treatments facials and other services in accordance with qualifications and property standards
• Conduct guest consultations to understand individual needs preferences medical considerations and treatment expectations
• Recommend appropriate treatments wellness experiences and retail products based on guest needs
• Deliver personalized and intuitive service while maintaining guest privacy dignity comfort and confidentiality
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all spa treatments wellness experiences packages products and promotions
• Respond professionally to guest feedback and support the resolution of any service concerns
• Build positive guest relationships and encourage repeat visits through exceptional service

Team Leadership amp Development

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership guidance and support to the Spa Therapist team
• Lead by example by consistently demonstrating excellent treatment techniques grooming professionalism and guest service
• Conduct daily briefings and ensure therapists are prepared for scheduled treatments and activities
• Coach and train therapists on treatment protocols product knowledge service standards and guest engagement
• Monitor treatment quality and consistency and provide constructive feedback where required
• Support the Spa amp Wellness Manager with onboarding training performance reviews and development plans
• Assist in preparing team schedules and ensuring appropriate therapist coverage based on business levels
• Act as the primary point of contact for the therapist team in the absence of the Spa amp Wellness Manager

Spa Operations

• Support the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the Spa and Wellness facilities
• Monitor treatment schedules to ensure appointments run efficiently and on time
• Ensure treatment rooms are correctly prepared before and reset after every treatment
• Conduct regular checks of treatment rooms relaxation areas and therapist preparation areas
• Ensure sufficient availability of linens amenities oils treatment products and other supplies
• Report maintenance concerns and equipment issues promptly
• Support opening and closing procedures and ensure required operational checklists are completed

Health Safety amp Hygiene

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness hygiene sanitation and infection control
• Ensure all therapists comply with established treatment hygiene health and safety procedures
• Ensure equipment treatment tools and treatment areas are appropriately cleaned and sanitized
• Follow all relevant Qatar health and safety regulations and property policies
• Ensure contraindications and relevant guest health information are properly considered before treatments
• Immediately report any accidents incidents injuries hazards or guest health concerns in accordance with established procedures

Retail amp Revenue

• Support the achievement of treatment and retail revenue targets
• Recommend retail products and additional treatments based on genuine guest needs rather than a transactional sales approach
• Encourage therapists to identify appropriate opportunities for treatment upgrades and product recommendations
• Assist with stock monitoring inventories and product requisitions
• Monitor treatment product usage and minimize unnecessary wastage
• Support spa promotions wellness programs packages and other revenue‑generating initiatives

Administration amp Collaboration

• Maintain accurate guest consultation and treatment records
• Assist with therapist schedules treatment assignments inventories and departmental reports
• Communicate guest feedback operational issues and team concerns to the Spa amp Wellness Manager
• Work closely with Guest Experience Front Office Housekeeping Engineering and other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey
• Participate in departmental meetings training programs property activities and wellness initiatives as required

Recognized qualification or certification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Holistic Therapy, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 5 years of professional Spa Therapist/ Team Leader experience, preferably within luxury hotels, resorts, lifestyle hospitality, or premium wellness environments.Previous experience as a Senior Spa Therapist, Lead Therapist, or Team Leader is preferred.Strong practical knowledge of massage techniques, body treatments, facials, and wellness therapies.Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, treatment contraindications, hygiene, and sanitation standards.Experience coaching or training other therapists is highly desirable.Strong command of English; additional languages are an advantage.Previous experience in a luxury resort or wellness-focused environment is an advantage.
