Job summary

Mogi I/O : OTT/Podcast/Short Video Apps for you seeks an experienced Sourcing Manager (China & Global Markets) to lead sourcing and procurement for machinery, equipment, and structural components. You will identify reliable international suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage end-to-end sourcing globally, including travel to required locations.

You will collaborate with engineering, logistics, finance, and quality teams to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, SCM, Engineering, Procurement, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or SCM.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience sourcing machinery/equipment from China and other international markets.
• Strong knowledge of the Chinese supplier and manufacturing ecosystem.
• Experience in sourcing heavy machinery, industrial equipment, or structural components is highly desirable.
• Experience in the amusement ride/outdoor entertainment industry is a strong advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with international suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities from supplier identification and purchase orders through final delivery.
• Build and maintain strong long-term supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, operations, finance, and quality teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Ensure sourced machinery, equipment, and structural components meet required quality and technical specifications.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, alternate vendors, and process improvements.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, technologies, and sourcing opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality, and commercial terms.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to international sourcing, logistics, quality, and supply disruptions.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, sourcing documentation, contracts, and performance reports.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on sourcing activities, supplier performance, costs, and savings.

• Strong knowledge of the Chinese supplier and manufacturing ecosystem.
• Experience in sourcing heavy machinery, industrial equipment, or structural components is highly desirable.
• Experience in the amusement ride/outdoor entertainment industry will be a strong advantage.
• Strong supplier negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of international logistics, import processes, and customs procedures.
• Strong knowledge of supplier quality and compliance requirements.
• Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Good understanding of Chinese business culture and negotiation practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
