Job summary

GHD is seeking an experienced Site Architect to join the Programme Management Business Group in Qatar. The role involves supporting the Project Manager/Resident Engineer, reviewing architectural submittals, and conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and quality standards.

Proficiency in BIM, AutoCAD, and Revit is required. The ideal candidate has a degree in Architecture and at least 12 years of postgraduate experience, including 5 years in design review and

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of postgraduate experience, including 5+ years in architectural design review and construction supervision on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, Qatar Construction Specifications, and Qatar authority requirements; registration in Qatar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural coordination with other disciplines and support the Project Manager on site.
• Assist with processing of contract documents and contract administration activities related to architectural works.
• Develop, modify, review and update architectural drawings and design information as required.
• Advise on technical matters affecting progress, quality, cost, safety or programme.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, material proposals and RFIs using BIM is mandatory.
