Job summary

Capacity trading and contracting in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to lead the startup and commissioning of Siemens Desigo systems. You will configure, program and troubleshoot field devices and software, verify control sequences, and ensure operations align with project specifications.

Requires 3–5 years in BMS commissioning, strong Siemens product experience, and ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience in BMS commissioning and controls systems.
Hands-on Siemens BMS product experience required.
Experience with BACnet and Modbus communications.
Ability to read control drawings and sequences of operation.

Responsibilities

Perform commissioning testing and startup of BMS systems as per project specs.
Configure, program and troubleshoot Siemens BMS controllers and field devices.
Verify control sequences and ensure proper system operation.
Conduct point-to-point testing and functional performance checks.
Coordinate with PMs, consultants, subcontractors and clients during commissioning.
Diagnose hardware/software communication and network issues.
Prepare commissioning reports and handover docs.
Support site installation teams and provide technical guidance.
Attend client meetings and provide technical support during project execution.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and project requirements.
