Job description

Our chemical client is looking for a Shift Laboratory Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining lab equipment, tracking and documenting samples, and adhering to SOPs. You will be performing various chemical analyses and providing accurate, timely reports to support plant operations and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular, routine, and specialist chemical analysis reports based on scientific techniques of the samples, ensuring reports lead to appropriate quality assurance and corrective actions.
• Regular reporting to ensure concerned personnel are well-informed about the plant's status and performance from a quality assurance and control perspective.
• Maintain all lab equipment and utilities, ensuring they are in fit-for-purpose condition and maximising its availability.
• Conduct shipment-related products analysis of shore tank, wall wash, first foot, and after loading samples.

Requirements
