Job summary

Airswift is working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a SHES Specialist - Offplot for a long-term contract based at Ras Laffan, Qatar. The role requires residential accommodation, six days per week, ten hours per day on site.

The SHES Specialist will provide safety, health, environment and security oversight for dredging, reclamation and marine construction activities, ensuring compliance, environmental responsibility and project objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences, safety, health, environment, security, or engineering.
• Experience leading SHES programs in oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of dredging, marine construction and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide SHES leadership for dredging and marine works on site.
• Ensure compliance with SHES plans, permits and regulatory obligations.
• Conduct inspections of dredgers, barges, vessels, and equipment.
• Review contractor risk assessments, method statements and emergency plans.
• Investigate safety and environmental incidents and implement lessons learned.
• Coordinate with project management, contractors, authorities and stakeholders.
