Job summary

Raya Water Solutions & Trading in Doha, Qatar invites an experienced Operation & Maintenance Engineer to manage STP operations. The role spans electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering backgrounds with hands-on STP O&M expertise.

You will oversee plant performance, coordinate maintenance, monitor parameters, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and document activities while collaborating with operators and technicians for reliable daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day STP operations and equipment.
• Ensure efficient operation of mechanical, electrical and process systems.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor plant parameters, equipment performance, and process conditions.
• Identify issues and coordinate troubleshooting.
• Ensure pumps, blowers, motors, valves, and control systems operate efficiently.
• Review data, maintenance records, and reports and take action.
• Coordinate with operators, technicians, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure activities comply with policies and safety requirements.
• Support health, safety and environmental standards compliance.
• Maintain accurate operation and maintenance documentation.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
