Job summary

Client of Premium Solutions Consultancy is seeking a Senior MEP Engineer in Qatar with proven expertise in mechanical design and water and wastewater infrastructure. The role leads mechanical design activities for MEP and infrastructure projects and coordinates with civil, electrical, architectural teams to ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of hands-on experience in STP wastewater treatment, pumping stations, RO piping, piping, and hydraulic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Strong hands-on experience in STP and wastewater treatment systems, pumping stations, plumbing, RO, piping, and hydraulics.
• Qatar project experience and valid Qatar registration (MMUP/UPDA/MME) are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical design activities for MEP and infrastructure projects.
• Design and review systems related to STP wastewater treatment and sewage pumping stations.
• Develop and review plumbing, piping, RO and hydraulic systems; perform hydraulic calculations.

A well-established engineering and contracting organization in Qatar is looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer with strong expertise in mechanical design and water and wastewater infrastructure systems The ideal candidate should have proven Qatar project experience and hands-on knowledge of STP wastewater treatment sewage pumping stations plumbing RO piping and hydraulic systems

Senior MEP Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical design activities for MEP and infrastructure projects
• Design and review systems related to STP wastewater treatment and sewage pumping stations
• Develop and review plumbing piping RO and hydraulic systems
• Perform hydraulic calculations and ensure appropriate system sizing and design
• Select and specify pumps and other mechanical equipment based on project requirements
• Prepare and review P amp IDs and PFDs
• Develop and review mechanical layouts technical drawings and design documentation
• Coordinate mechanical designs with civil electrical architectural and other engineering disciplines
• Review technical specifications drawings calculations and project deliverables
• Coordinate with consultants contractors suppliers and project stakeholders
• Ensure designs comply with applicable Qatar standards project specifications and regulatory requirements
• Support site teams during implementation troubleshooting testing and commissioning activities
• Monitor project progress and coordinate design deliverables using appropriate project management tools

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering .
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design .
