Baker Hughes invites applications for the Services Advisor – Contract Performance Mgmt role in Qatar. You will lead contract administration for proposals and contracts, interface with customers, negotiate and interpret terms, and support LNG and power plant projects.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 7 years in contract management, knowledge of rotating equipment (gas turbines), advanced Excel, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or 4+ years in contract administration)
• 7 years of contract formation and execution/contract performance management
• Experience/knowledge in rotating equipment, especially gas turbines
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Fluency in English (Arabic preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide contract administration for assigned proposals and contracts including customer interface, negotiations, preparation, and contract interpretation
• Provide contract management support in the execution of equipment orders for LNG and power plant contracts (domestic and international)
• Perform proposal, negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals/contracts with minimal supervision
• Provide support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts
• Interface frequently with customers on contract matters and perform team leader responsibilities for assigned programs
• Coordinate with functional organizations to ensure clear communication of requirements
• Review processes to improve overall efficiency

In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and can affect short‑term and some long‑term business goals.

As a Services Advisor - Contract Performance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Providing contract administration for assigned proposals and contracts including customer interface, negotiations, preparation, and contract interpretation.
• Providing contract management support in the execution of equipment only orders for domestic and international LNG and power plant contracts.
• Performing proposal, negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision.
• Providing support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts.
• Having Frequent interface with the customer on contract matters. Performing team leader responsibilities for assigned programs.
• Providing interface liaison with functional organizations and insure proper communication of requirements.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a contract administration position).
• Have 7 years of experience with contract formation and execution/contract performance management.
• Have experience/knowledge in rotating equipment specially gas turbines.
• Have advanced level in proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Have fluency in English (Arabic fluency is preferred).
