Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a Service Advisor for our Quick Service Center in Qatar. You will greet customers, capture their requests, and document symptoms to prepare accurate job cards and estimates.

You will also handle cash, assist at the parts counter, and monitor inventory while ensuring timely vehicle delivery and clear invoicing. The role requires a Bachelor in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years in a dealership, and strong SAP/MS Office proficiency to support ERP

Overview Of The Role:

The Service Advisor at our Quick Service Center plays a vital role in managing customer interactions and ensuring the successful delivery of services. Key responsibilities include receiving and noting customer requests, preparing job cards, providing detailed estimates, managing cash and petty cash transactions, and ensuring satisfaction with service delivered. The role demands effective communication skills to handle customer concerns promptly and ensure consistent satisfaction rates. The advisor should demonstrate cultural sensitivity and teamwork to handle dealership service operations effectively.

What You Will Do:

• Receive and greet customers promptly with a smile.
• Record customer requests accurately and sympathetically.
• Collect precise symptoms of complaints from customers for effective resolution.
• Explain job details and estimates to customers.
• Deliver the vehicle personally and explain the invoice to customers.
• Prepare and manage job cards efficiently.
• Ensure adequate number of Repair Orders are processed.
• Monitor workshop operations and promise delivery times accordingly.
• Follow up on jobs in the workshop and obtain approvals for additional repairs.
• Process and record all cash transactions accurately within 24-hour timeframes.
• Manage cash desk activities, ensuring proper documentation and usage.
• Prepare and reconcile petty cash vouchers and maintain organized filing systems.
• Deposit cash to the bank regularly, maintaining accurate records of all deposits.
• Assist customers at the parts counter with expert knowledge on parts and accessories.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and cycle counts for accuracy.
• Oversee parts returns and inspect for quality and proper documentation.
• Promote additional parts and accessories sales to meet revenue targets.
• Comply with company quality guidelines and SOPs, reporting all incidents.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Bachelor of Automobile /Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience within an automobile dealership as a Service Advisor.
• Proficiency in automotive dealer/distributor business processes, SAP, MS Office, and ERP systems.
• Strong customer handling, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
