Job summary

Danem Engineering Works W.L.L seeks an experienced QA/QC Inspector – Welding in Qatar to inspect welding activities, verify WPS/PQR, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of welding inspection experience and holds a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with strong QA/QC documentation skills and the ability to coordinate NDT activities.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of welding inspection experience.
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to review WPS/PQR and welder qualifications.
• Strong QA/QC documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welding activities to ensure workmanship meets approved specifications and quality requirements.
• Verify welding procedures, WPS/PQR documentation, and welder qualification records before and during fabrication activities.
• Conduct visual inspection of weld joints and identify welding defects or non-conformities.
• Coordinate required NDT activities and review inspection results for compliance.
• Monitor welding parameters, consumables, joint preparation, fit-up, and pre-/post-weld requirements.
• Prepare and maintain welding inspection reports, quality records, and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate with welding, fabrication, QA/QC, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support corrective and preventive actions for welding-related non-conformities.
