Job summary

BSL is seeking an experienced System Test Manager to lead the testing team and ensure delivery of high-quality software products. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee testing activities, define effective test strategies, and manage resources to meet project timelines and quality standards, including support during night and after-office hours when required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
15+ years in software testing and QA with 10+ years in management.
Experience leading end-to-end testing on large-scale projects in Agile and Waterfall.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies, plans and processes.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of testers for quality delivery.
Collaborate with project managers, software managers, and stakeholders to define scope.
Oversee functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
Define, monitor, and report testing metrics to senior management.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to software releases.
Manage test environments, tools, and automation frameworks.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Drive continuous improvement in testing processes via retrospectives.
Coordinate testing activities with external vendors/partners as needed.
