Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy in Qatar seeks a Senior Static Equipment Engineer to lead static equipment engineering for ammonia/urea projects. You will oversee design philosophy, FEED data, and vendor reviews, ensuring compliance with international codes and safety standards.

You will collaborate on cross-functional reviews, contribute to safety assessments, and support procurement from concept to commissioning. Fluency in English and 10+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

10+ years of static equipment engineering experience.
Familiarity with ASME Section VIII and project procurement processes.
Experience with equipment design reviews, bid evaluation, and vendor design reviews.

Responsibilities

Lead static equipment sizing and selection studies during concept and feasibility phases.
Develop static equipment design basis and datasheets for FEED and EPC.
Review vendor design calculations, material certificates and inspection/test plans.
Participate in HAZOP, SIL and Process Safety Management assessments.
Prepare technical specifications and requisition packages for pressure vessels and related equipment.
