Job summary

Indman DMCC is seeking a Senior Static Equipment Engineer to lead activities from concept through commissioning for ammonia and urea projects. You will design and review pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers and related equipment, ensuring ASME/API compliance and robust vendor engagement.

The role requires strong knowledge of ASME VIII, PV Elite, CAESAR II, and effective communication in English, with 8–12 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in Static Equipment Engineering.
• Experience in equipment specification and vendor design review.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead static equipment engineering activities across FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication and commissioning.
• Design and review pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, columns, reactors and filters.
• Evaluate vendor bids, review vendor calculations and documentation for compliance with ASME/API standards.

Job description

• Lead static equipment engineering activities from concept FEED detailed engineering procurement fabrication and commissioning.
• Design and review pressure vessels storage tanks heat exchangers columns reactors filters and other pressure equipment.
• Prepare and review design basis equipment lists datasheets specifications calculations drawings and technical requisitions.
• Evaluate vendor bids and review vendor calculations materials inspection plans and technical documentation for compliance with ASME API and company standards.
• Provide technical support during fabrication inspection testing installation and commissioning resolving engineering and material-related issues Participate in HAZOP SIL PSM and safety reviews to identify and mitigate equipment-related risks Coordinate with Process Piping Materials Procurement Construction vendors EPC contractors and consultants Maintain engineering standards specifications and lessons learned while ensuring quality safety cost and schedule compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Static Equipment Engineers.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8-12 years of experience in Static Equipment Engineering, preferably in Ammonia and Urea projects.
• Experience in equipment specification, technical bid evaluation, and vendor design review.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII and project procurement processes.
• API 510/570/653 certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, PV Elite, and CAESAR II.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.
