Job summary

Parsons seeks a proactive Stakeholder Management Engineer in Qatar to coordinate and manage interactions with government entities, utilities, communities and contractors for large infra projects.

Key responsibilities include organizing meetings, tracking commitments, and ensuring regulatory compliance while providing updates to senior management as projects progress.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in stakeholder roles, strong communication, and a civil engineering/project management background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in stakeholder coordination for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interact with public authorities and utility agencies professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication; diplomatic presentation.
• Understanding of project lifecycle and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management documentation systems.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external stakeholders including authorities, utilities, and community representatives to support approvals and interface needs.
• Assist in preparing and submitting stakeholder documentation, correspondence, and reports.
• Monitor stakeholder requirements, expectations, and commitments to align with project goals.
• Identify and address potential stakeholder issues or conflicts affecting timeline or scope.
• Organize and attend stakeholder meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions.
• Maintain a stakeholder engagement log tracking agreements and concerns.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and planning teams to incorporate stakeholder needs into plans.
• Support development and implementation of engagement strategies and communication plans.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate with authorities for timely approvals and NOCs.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on stakeholder matters and progress.
