Job summary

Parsons in Qatar seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil, facilities and asset-related activities on local projects, with emphasis on BCC processes and regulatory compliance.

You will review submissions, manage site inspections, coordinate with authorities, and ensure safe, efficient handovers. The role requires strong CAD skills, MMUP/MME registration, and deep knowledge of Qatar regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years in civil engineering with 5+ years in progressive roles.
• Experience with BCC process is mandatory.
• Familiar with MME building permit system.
• Deep knowledge of Qatar/GCC real estate markets and regulations.
• Experience with real estate development/consultancy.
• Knowledge of building rules and completion procedures.
• Proficient in CAD and engineering PC software.
• Must have valid MME/MMUP registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil work of contractors, KPI tracking, budgeting and cost control.
• Oversee facilities management and maintenance of civil works for safe environments.
• Coordinate civil review for BCC applications and ensure documentation completeness.
• Review submissions against plans, codes, and authorities; resolve technical issues.
• Inspect completed works and assess as-built vs approved drawings.
• Provide technical advice to facilities management and asset teams.
• Manage asset handovers and maintain asset takeovers from other departments.
• Support project managers with drawings, comments, and meetings.
