Job summary

Detailed Job Description

As a Security Network Engineer at MACH Consultants in Qatar, you will take full ownership of enterprise network security architecture, firewall administration, routing optimization, and threat mitigation. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass deploying and tuning FortiGate/Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA firewalls, managing F5 BIG-IP load balancers and HP TippingPoint IPS, securing routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP, MPLS, QoS), and ensuring high-availability enterprise gateway operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to conduct vulnerability assessments, resolve security incidents, and maintain rigorous network segmentation. Working in a fast-paced technology consulting environment in Qatar, you will drive infrastructure security resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network security architectures, firewalls, and gateway environments.
• Implement and manage next-generation firewalls including FortiGate/Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA platforms.
• Configure and administer F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM, TMOS) and HP TippingPoint IPS security appliances.
• Secure enterprise routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, RIP, MPLS, and Quality of Service (QoS) configurations.
• Manage high-availability enterprise gateway environments, VPN connectivity, and Cisco AnyConnect solutions.
