Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Scaffolding and Painting Technical Professional to plan, coordinate, and oversee scaffolding, surface preparation, blasting, painting and corrosion protection on the project.

You will ensure work meets project specs, international standards, and client requirements while maintaining safety and QA/QC discipline. Experience in the Middle East and familiarity with LNG or Qatar Energy is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years in scaffolding, painting, coating, and corrosion protection in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, or EPC projects.
• Experience in Large-scale Middle East projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with Qatar Energy/LNG or similar client projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee scaffolding, surface preparation, blasting, painting, coating, and corrosion protection activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors and client representatives during inspections and audits; provide technical support to contractors.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to HSE requirements; participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material requirements; monitor progress and report to management.
