Job summary

KBR Careers seeks a Scaffolding and Painting Technical Professional to plan, coordinate, and oversee scaffolding, surface prep, blasting, painting, coating, and corrosion protection on major projects. The role ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across phases, with input from QA/QC and client representatives.

The successful candidate will have 8–10 years' experience in oil & gas or EPC, a technical degree, and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, review method

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in scaffolding, painting, coating and corrosion protection.
• Experience on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, refinery or EPC projects in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scaffolding design, erection, inspection, and dismantling per project specs.
• Supervise surface prep, blasting, painting, and corrosion protection activities.
• Review method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs; ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Promote safety culture; enforce HSE requirements and PPE use.
• Coordinate with teams and report progress; participate in meetings.
