Job summary

Tech Junction Ltd in Qatar seeks an experienced Sales / Proposal Engineer (Electronic / Electrical) to drive business development, technical sales, tendering, and proposal management across Oil & Gas, Marine, Onboard, and Shipyard sectors.

The role combines strong engineering knowledge with commercial acumen to develop customer relationships, review RFQs, prepare techno-commercial proposals, and support contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Strong background in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in technical sales and proposal engineering.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Marine, Offshore, Onboard Systems or Shipyard operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within Oil & Gas, Marine, Offshore, and Shipyard sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
• Review RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and technical specifications.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and vendor teams to develop competitive solutions.
• Conduct technical evaluations and cost estimations.
• Support tender clarification meetings and technical presentations.
• Prepare bid documentation and proposal submissions.
• Negotiate pricing, scope, terms, and commercial conditions with customers.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and proposals.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
• Support project handover activities following contract award.
• Maintain proposal databases, bid records, and sales documentation.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and revenue objectives.
