Job summary

Assets Group in Doha seeks a senior internal auditor to plan and lead risk-based engagements across hospitality and facility management environments. The role blends audits of hospitality operations (F&B cost control, inventory, revenue assurance) with FM service delivery and asset lifecycle governance.

The candidate brings 5–8 years of relevant audit experience, strong fieldwork and reporting skills, and a proven ability to engage operations and asset management stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field; professional certification preferred or in progress (CIA, CPA, CFE, or equivalent)
• 5–8 years internal audit experience across hospitality and FM operations and asset management
• Willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead risk-based internal audit engagements across hospitality operations, including F&B cost control, inventory, procurement, revenue assurance, cash handling, outlet controls, and brand compliance
• Plan and lead internal audit engagements across facility management operations, including service delivery controls, maintenance contracts, SLA compliance, vendor management, asset lifecycle, and PPM governance
• Assess controls across integrated service models where hospitality and FM intersect, including managed properties and outsourced FM arrangements
• Identify operational risk, revenue leakage, contractual non-compliance, and control weaknesses across both domains
• Develop and execute Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) distinguishing DE from OE across hospitality and FM processes
• Perform fieldwork, gather evidence, and document workpapers to support audit conclusions
• Draft audit findings and lead reports, ensuring risk-rated, well-evidenced findings with actionable recommendations
• Engage with operations, asset management, and finance to discuss observations and corrective actions
• Track open findings through remediation and closure
• Guide and review work of junior auditors on engagements
• Support Internal Audit Manager in planning and scoping Assets Group engagements
