Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Quality Engineer for its GEC project in Qatar. You will uphold quality standards, implement QA/QC procedures, and work with project managers and engineers to ensure the highest quality and compliance in infrastructure and civil works.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality Management and 12+ years in quality engineering, preferably in infra projects. Knowledge of ISO/ASTM standards is preferred, with MMUP registration listed as a requirement and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 12+ years in quality engineering, preferably infra/civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with quality management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel for site visits.
• Familiarity with ISO/ASTM standards (preferred).
• CQE/CQA certifications are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations for infrastructure and civil projects.
• Implement and oversee QA/QC procedures, including inspections, audits, and testing.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and maintain quality plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality control measures.
• Identify and address quality issues, providing improvement recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality activities.
• Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and specifications for quality.
• Train and mentor junior quality engineers and technicians.
• Stay updated with industry trends in quality management.
• Support the project team in achieving goals and client satisfaction.
