Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a senior Quality Engineer in Doha, Qatar to ensure compliance with quality standards for major infrastructure and civil projects.

You will implement QA/QC procedures, supervise inspections and audits, and collaborate with project teams to maintain comprehensive quality plans and documentation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality Management, 12+ years in quality engineering, strong regulatory knowledge, and experience with quality management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum12 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and project-related activities.
• Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM) is preferred.
• Certifications in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQA) are an asset.
• Candidates must hold a valid MMUP registration

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations for infrastructure and civil engineering projects
• Implement and oversee QA QC procedures including inspections audits and testing
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and maintain quality plans and procedures
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess quality control measures
• Identify and address quality issues providing recommendations for improvement
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality-related activities
• Review and approve technical documents drawings and specifications to ensure quality
• Train and mentor junior quality engineers and technicians
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality management
• Support the project team in achieving project goals and maintaining client satisfaction
