Job summary

sightspectrum is seeking an experienced Quality Analyst - Digital Banking to support QA and software testing of digital banking applications in Qatar. The candidate should have 6-8 years in QA/Testing, with strong exposure to Mobile and Internet Banking and a native Arabic speaking capability.

The role involves test planning, test script development, functional and regression testing, defect management, and quality reporting while leveraging Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS / IT / Software Eng or related field.
• 6-8 years of Quality Analyst / Software Testing experience.
• Strong experience in the Digital Banking domain.
• Experience testing Mobile Banking and Internet Banking applications.
• Native Arabic speaker / strong Arabic-speaking capability.
• Mandatory experience with JIRA.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, test cases, and test scripts.
• Experience in functional and regression testing.
• Strong defect identification and management skills.
• Knowledge of test coverage and quality reporting.
• Ability to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of banking processes.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration abilities.
• Relevant software testing or QA certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional and regression testing of digital banking applications.
• Test Mobile Banking and Internet Banking solutions.
• Identify, document, track, and manage software defects.
• Use JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
• Ensure appropriate test coverage across functional requirements and user stories.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare quality and testing reports for project stakeholders.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Validate banking processes and digital banking functionalities.
• Perform troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis of testing issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, product, development, and technical stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of software quality and testing processes.
