Job summary

istep technology is seeking a Project QA/QC Engineer for Gulf region assignments. The role focuses on leading QA/QC for onshore/offshore oil and gas facilities, with emphasis on procurement quality assurance, inspection coordination, and audits.

You will mentor a multi‑discipline team and ensure compliance with project quality plans and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate holds a mechanical engineering degree, CSWIP and ASNT certifications, and 12–15 years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• CSWIP welding inspection certificates and ASNT Level II required.
• IRCA Lead Auditor certification with QA/QC audit leadership experience.
• 12–15 years in QA/QC for oil & gas; LNG experience preferred.
• Experience in ISO 9001 based quality systems and audits.

Responsibilities

• Act as quality focal point interfacing with stakeholders to ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Review scopes, coordinate internal quality meetings and audits.
• Lead source inspections and coordinate third‑party inspectors.
• Chair pre‑inspection meetings to align requirements before work starts.
• Oversee NCR/CAR processes and drive continuous improvement.
