Job summary

Assets Group in Doha is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Manager with a strong Main Contractor background to lead project controls across hospitality, mixed-use developments and major construction programs. The role requires proven expertise in planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and performance management, with SAP/ERP proficiency to drive project performance.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant project experience in large-scale construction.
Strong background in planning, scheduling and cost control.
Experience leading project controls teams and interfacing with senior management.
Main Contractor experience is essential, hospitality projects preferred.
GCC experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Project Controls function across major projects.
Develop and maintain baselines for schedule, cost, budget, and KPIs.
Lead planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Monitor progress, identify deviations and risks, and implement corrective actions.
Provide strategic project controls guidance to PMs and senior management.
Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Contracts, Commercial, and Construction teams.
Prepare and present project controls reports and dashboards.
Support claims, variations, and change management.
Drive cost optimization and schedule improvement across projects.
Lead, mentor, and develop project controls teams.
Implement best practices, systems and processes to improve delivery.
