Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG is seeking a senior professional to deploy and lead process safety, loss prevention and risk management across assets. You will facilitate hazard identification, risk assessments and safety studies, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure compliance with standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 8 years in oil and gas process safety, with strong knowledge of HAZOP/HAZID, QRA and barrier management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering as stated in the qualifications.
• Extensive experience in process safety, loss prevention and risk management.
• Proven ability to lead hazard identification reviews (HAZID/HAZOP) and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Execute deployment and implementation of process safety and risk management objectives across assets.
• Provide inputs and reviews for engineering documents to meet standards.
• Coordinate hazard studies (HAZID, HAZOP, QRA) and prepare related reports.
• Support loss prevention procedures and ensure safety barriers are effective.
• Lead safety studies (QRA, SIL baseline/revalidation) and liaise with external consultants.
