Job summary

Propel Consult is looking for a Lead Loss Prevention Engineer for an offshore project based in Qatar. Candidates must have an Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in process safety within the Oil and Gas industry. Key responsibilities include identifying HSE requirements and developing safety plans. The ideal candidate will also have at least 5 years of offshore project experience and be proficient in HAZOP, HAZID, and safety equipment specifications.

Qualifications

• 10 years (Senior) and 15 years (Lead) experience in process safety and risk in the Oil and Gas industry.
• At least 5 years of offshore design project experience.
• Ability to develop and review process safety designs, documents, and plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify HSE requirements and prepare HSE plans and Loss Prevention Philosophy documents.
• Review process safety designs and documents across all disciplines.

Our client leading international project management company stable and successful. They are looking to recruit Lead Loss Prevention Engineer (Offshore Project) to be based in Qatar.

• Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering
• 10 years (Senior) and 15 years (Lead) minimum experience in process safety and risk within the Oil and Gas industry
• Must be an expert in identifying HSE requirements, preparation of HSE Plan and Loss Prevention Philosophy document
• Must have at least 5 years’ offshore design project experience
• Develop and review process safety designs, documents and plans across all disciplines
• Expert in HAZOP, HAZID, PHAST and blast calculations
• Proficient in philosophy, layout, modelling and specification for fire and gas detection and loss prevention equipment
