Job summary

QatarEnergy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Lead to oversee pre-commissioning through handover for major oil and gas projects. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise testing, start-up, and turnover of complex process facilities, ensuring safety and compliance.

You will work with project teams, contractors and operations to deliver operational readiness, manage risks, and drive commissioning milestones under tight schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Chartered Engineer status is preferable.
• BOSIET/FOET and CA-EBS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and testing activities.
• Ensure safe, efficient commissioning of process facilities and systems.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and operations to achieve readiness.
• Drive completion activities and handover to operations.
