Job summary
QatarEnergy Qatarization is seeking an experienced Reservoir Engineer to undertake offshore field studies, optimize field development plans, and analyze reservoir and well performance data. You will perform PTA interpretation, build dynamic models, and contribute to development plans for undeveloped resources.
The role requires 20+ years in reservoir engineering, strong English communication, and expertise with mature carbonate fields.
Qualifications
- Minimum 20 years of reservoir engineering experience
- Advanced knowledge of horizontal wells PTA interpretation and multi-layer reservoirs
- Experience with black-oil and compositional reservoir models
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience in mature carbonate fields
Responsibilities
- Perform PTA interpretation for horizontal wells in multi-layer reservoirs
- Construct/update dynamic reservoir models for field development planning
- Conduct annual reserves reviews and long-term production/injection forecasts
- Contribute reservoir inputs to short-, medium-, and long-term plans
- Identify target reservoirs and well-reservoir contacts for drilling projects
- Prepare post-drill reservoir reports integrating geological data
- Develop detailed integrated development plans for undeveloped resources
- Contribute to reservoir engineering domain in field reviews
- Maintain reservoir databases and real-time data links
- Monitor compliance and provide on-the-job training to staff
